If you ever sat in the stands behind home plate and watched Jim Palmer pitch, you would have marveled at a mound master in complete control of the batter's box

Jim Palmer of the Baltimore Orioles is the only pitcher in baseball history to win a World Series game in three different decades; 1960's, 1970's and 1980's.

Palmer's championship record is most impressive as he pitched in six League Championship Series, going 4-1, including a mere ERA of 1.96 in 60 innings. He hurled in 6 different World Series going 4-2, ERA 3.20 in 65 innings. Hall of Famer, Jim Palmer pitched his entire career for the Baltimore Orioles from 1965-1984.
