He made this statement in a television interview on 'WGN' in Chicago during the 1970's. 'The three best players I ever saw were Willie Mays, Mickey Mantle and Roberto Clemente. Boy! They could do it all; run, field, hit, hit with power and all had great throwing arms. Besides all three played winning baseball, that's why their teams always won. They were all team leaders.
