Bobby AvilaBobby Avila, 2nd Baseman, Cleveland Indians 1950's.  With his hot hitting throughout the 1950's , Avila helped the Indians fight for pennants and in 1954 , he led the league with a .341 batting average.  Bobby Avila's hitting, base running and excellent fielding made the Cleveland Indians the American League champs in 1954.  Always batting around .300, Avila was a true All-Star. In 1954 the fans voted Bobby Avila the starting 2nd baseman for the AL All-Star Squad.
