Baseball Historian Biography

Baseball History In putting together a winning team, one of your first picks has to include Charlie Hustle. Pete Rose's hustling is legendary and his win at all cost encouraged his team mates to excel and win baseball championships. Rose was voted the Rookie of the Year in 1963. From 1965 to 1979, except for one year, Rose hit over .300. Holds the NL record for this century with a 44 consecutive game hitting streak. Pete Rose is the baseballs all-time leader in hits with 4256, and all-time leader in games played with 3562, unbelievable. Rose once said I'd walk through Hell in a gasoline suit to keep playing baseball.
