A well-regarded, strong-armed pitcher Olive Bend Little possessed one of the fastest fastballs in womens baseball history. In her three seasons, 1943-1945, in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, AAGPBL, the mound star hurled four no hitters. Born in Manitoba Canada, she pitched in traveling softball leagues prior to joining the women’s league and is a member of the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame.
