Centerfielder, Lefthanded, Racine Belles 1945-1948

One of the fastest runners in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, Ann Batikis signed as a rookie in 1945 at age 18 for the Racine Belles, her hometown team. Rated an excellent fielder, she also was a very fine base runner and batter. After playing she taught school for 35 years.
