DELAVAN -- Freshman Kali Riddell (3-1) tossed a four-hitter, striking out 17, as University High defeated Peoria Christian, 4-0, at the Delavan Tournament on Friday. Kelsey Wilson had three hits, including a double and triple, and two RBIs for U High (6-8).

Kali Riddell and Kristin Satchwell had two hits each.

We note that Kali Riddell spends hours per/week practicing her pitching with the aid of her father/coach, Chuck Riddell.
