Sisters Kali Riddell and Lauri Riddell of U-High combined to pitched a one hit shutout to help the U-High Pioneers easily defeat  the Ottawa Marquette at Champion Field in Bloomington Normal in Illinois on April 20 2011. The game was a non-conference battle.

Kali Riddell, a junior, struck out ten while yielding just one hit, no runs in 5 innings to improve her 2011 season total to 4 wins and 4 losses. Lauri Riddell, a freshman, came in to pitch the 6th and struck out 2.

Jane McCullough led the offense of U High. She lined a double and had 5 RBIs. Chloe Hundman, Shannon Stuart and Kali Riddell each had two hits and one RBI for the winning U High Pioneers, who scored 5 runs in the last of the 6th to stop the game due to the 10 run rule.
