Autographed TOPPS Baseball Card Randy Bush, a fleet-footed outfielder, had 12 solid seasons with the Minnesota Twins, 1982-1993. A dangerous clutch-hitter and an aggressive fielder, he was in high demand as a left-handed pinch-hitter during his tenure with the Twins. In 1987 he compiled an on-base-percentage of .349 and helped Minnesota win the AL West, and in the AL Championship Series against the Tigers, Randy Bush lined 3 hits in 12 at-bats, including a three-base hit, and stole 3 bases. During the World Series he got a key hit to help the Twins win the Championship. During 1988 Randy Bush, a fans favorite, lined 20 doubles, 3 triples, 14 homers, 51 runs and had 51 RBI. On May 22 1988 he scored 4 runs in a game vs Texas and had 5 RBIs on July 23 against Baltimore. That season he batted .316 in pinch-hitting at bats. The next season, on May 20 1989, Randy Bush tied a Twins record with 8 RBIs. In 1991 he hit two pinch-hit homers off closer Jeff Reardon in less than a week, July 14 and July 19. And, in a Toronto Star Newspaper poll of American League managers Randy Bush was chosen as the top Pinch-hitter in the AL. |
