Baseball Historian Biography

A native of the Dominican Republic, Fabio Castro throws a moving low 90s fastball and hangs a changeup that baffles hitters. He was traded to Philadelphia in his first major league season in mid June 2006 from Texas and posted a stingy 1.54 earned run average in 23.1 innings, 18 games and the 22-year old Fabio Castro struck out 13 batters.
