Ron Cey was a power packed third baseman helping the Los Angeles Dodgers capture the pennants in 1974, 1977, 1978 and 1981. In ten different years he blasted over 20 home runs while maintaining a batting average near .275. Ron Cey played in six All-Star games for the Dodgers and twice led the league in fielding and once in putouts and assists. Cey hit 33 doubles, 24 HR's and drove home 90 runs. Ron Cey's lifetime stats: .261 batting average, played in 2073 games, hit 328 doubles, 316 HR's and an .357 OBP. |
