Baseball Historian Biography

One of the main players of the Philadelphia Phillies, Jimmy Rollins captures the attention of fans and media alike with his aggressive batting, fielding and when running the bases. He’s become one of the top all-around shortstops in baseball history and a fans favorite beside. A switch-hitter he always loved powering the high-fastball and the last few seasons has become a fine curve ball hitter.

Jimmy Collins has come a long way since his playing days at Encinal High School in California. Every season in his first seven, 2000-2006, he has maintain an over .300 on-base-pct, which has provided the Phillies with a scoring machine. During 2004-2006, he has scored 119, 115 and 127 runs.
