Last year covered third base for the Brooklyn Club, and batted .277 in 141 games. Stripp has been playing in the National League since 1928. He was bought by the Cincinnati Reds after batting .419 in 64 games. He remained with the Reds until 1932 when he was traded to Brooklyn in a 6 player deal. Stripp was born in Harrison, N. J., in 1903, is a right-hander, about 6 feet tall and moves the weighs at 175 pounds. |
